This is an introduction to South Restoration Branch. 

South Restoration Branch is not a church, only a branch of
the church

We believe the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the continuation of the church that Christ restored to the earth in 1830. We worship outside the hierarchy of the Church because of the changes that have been made by man to the doctrine, priesthood authority and ordinances. We await the day when Christ shall set the Church in order. We invite you to come and worship with us. 


WE BELIEVE:
 

• Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that he died on the cross to atone for our sins.
   

• Christ built his Church while he was on the earth and that he changes not.
   

• Due to the apostasy that occurred by the end of the 6th century, the Church had to be restored.
   

• Joseph Smith, Jr. was a prophet of God and was the instrument that Christ used to effect the restoration on April 6, 1830.
   

• The six principles of the Gospel: faith, repentance, baptisms, laying on of hands, resurrection and eternal judgement.
   

• The Bible is God's holy word.
   

• The Book of Mormon is also God's holy word and was translated from ancient writings by Joseph Smith through the power of the Holy Spirit. It is another testimony of Jesus Christ.
   

• The Doctrine and Covenants contains modern day revelation from God to His people today. 
   

• Zion will be a literal city set up on the earth to which Christ will return to when He comes in glory.
   

• The priesthood must be called of God through direct revelation.
   

• Baby blessing, baptism of water and spirit, the Lord's supper, ordination, administration, patriarchal blessing and marriages are ordinances in the Church.
   

• The gifts and fruits of the Spirit.
   

• The signs follow the believer.
